This half-acre property is located just a few blocks from the town square in Sonoma, CA. The clients updated a 1940’s ranch house with a spare and modern vernacular. A swimming pool, poolside patios and an outdoor shower were designed to compliment the contemporary style. To blend in with the mature native oaks and redwoods, a native no-mow meadow was designed to replace the traditional lawn. The landscape was installed using advanced sustainable landscape design practices in close collaboration with a licensed landscape contractor.
